This will be my third time doing the Shoppers Drug Mart® Weekend to End Women's Cancers™ two-day, 60-kilometre walk.

In 2008, I signed up on my own and met some wonderful lifelong friends during my training. In 2009 Heather (my daughter) and I did the walk together and it was absolutely fantastic. Heather was involved in all aspects of the walk and found it to be an amazing experience. She would love to do it again however, university comes first and she is way out in BC!

When I do this walk next year I will be a 5 1/2 year survivor ... and yes ... I count the 1/2 year :)

I believe that the research done by Princess Margaret has made a huge impact on myself and future generations and hope that you will support this effort.

My commitment is based on love and my realization that we each need to do our part in this fight. I can walk. I can raise funds to benefit The Campbell Family Institute at The Princess Margaret, a leader in the fight against all women's cancers. I can and choose to be a part of this movement to save lives.
